SHIMANTO RFCD ACCOUNT (EUR)

Interest bearing deposit account.

Foreign currency deposited in this account is freely convertible into BDT.

Deposited foreign currency can be sent abroad through banking channel.

Foreign currency notes can be issued to the account holder from this account while visiting abroad.

Local withdrawal allowed in ATM/POS/OTC.

International Credit card can be issued against the balance held in the RFCD account favoring the account holders as per FOREX guideline.

Resident Bangladeshi nationals can open RFCD account at any time after return to Bangladesh.

Copy of NID / passport/ Birth Registration Certificate for account holder and nominee.

Copy of Bangladeshi passport with departure and arrival record.

Recent copy of colour photograph of the account holder and nominee.

Copy of Utility Bill.

Copy of TIN Certificate (if applicable).

Customer's declaration as per standard format mentioning detail of the travel, date of return, amount of foreign exchange brought in etc.

The declaration must mention that the FC –is not a receipt against export of goods or services from Bangladesh and is not a commission due from abroad arising from business deal in Bangladesh.

Copy of FMJ form if the deposit amount is more than USD 5000 or equivalent.

Amount exceeding $5000 or its equivalent declared in form FMJ need to be deposited in this account within 30 days of arrival.
